The Columbia Gorge has a four season climate for the great outdoorsman. Known for its prime kite boarding, wind surfing, fishing, boating, Stone Henge Memorial, Maryhill Winery, Maryhill Museum and water recreation areas for your enjoyment. Salmon and Steelhead fishing off the Big Klickitat, Deschutes, and John Day River is within 45 minutes of Goldendale. Standing big and beautiful, the following mountains are visible from Klickitat County: Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, Mt. Helens, Mt. Rainier, Simcoe Mountains, The Columbia Hills, the Cascade Range and from some areas, Mt. Jefferson. We are located in South Central Washington,  approximately 2 hours East of Portland, OR; Approximately 1 hour South of Yakima, WA; Approximately 3 Hours North of Bend, OR; Approximately 1 1/2 Hours to Mt. Hood for Skiing on one of the largest Night Skiing Resorts around.
